Recreating the journey through the gate of heaven through painting

On the afternoon of June 18, at the special national relic of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam, the painting exhibition "Si tu 2" was officially opened. The exhibition was organized by Nhau Studio in collaboration with the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam and the Vietnam branch of the International Watercolor Association.

Exhibition "Lion 2" with more than 70 works by 23 authors from 2 departments of Applied Watercolor and Art Anatomy of Nhau Studio.

Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam shared: “The exhibition “Si tu 2” has the participation of more artists than the first time. The event hopes to bring strong emotions and spiritual motivation to the students. The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is ready to welcome students to experience and prepare for a new journey in the sacred space of the country's first university”.

The exhibition is a continuation of the success of “Sí tử” which was first held in 2024. This year, the content and form have been developed more richly, bringing many new experiences. The event contributes to cheering and encouraging candidates before the National High School Graduation Exam.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh, co-founder of Nhau Studio, said: "This year's exhibition has a new point compared to last year, which is the addition of the "Scholar's Road" area. "Scholar's Road" recreates the journey of the scholars passing the gate. First is the check-in point with the professions they desire. Then comes the review area and exam room. "Passing the gate" is the main area for everyone to experience the feeling of standing at the first university in Vietnam, the Temple of Literature.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also launched a watercolor painting competition organized by the International Watercolor Society Vietnam branch (IWS Vietnam), an opportunity for artists to exchange, learn and connect with the creative community.
