Responding to the 2025 tourism stimulus program "Vietnam - Go to love" launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and commemorating the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam's tourism industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2025), Samsung Electronics Vietnam and the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism launched the content creation contest "Galaxy AI understands Vietnamese, honoring Vietnamese tourism" from April 18 to May 18, 2025. After 1 month of launching, the contest attracted more than 2,000 participants and created more than 100 million impressions and lively interactions across social networking platforms.
The Organizing Committee awarded the General Prize in the Video category to author Ton Thi Tinh.
On June 18, Samsung Electronics Vietnam and the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism held a ceremony to honor the outstanding individuals who won prizes, with a value of up to 300 million VND. The contest found worthy owners of prestigious awards, including: Final prize in the Video category for author Ton Thi Tinh; Final prize in the Image category awarded to author Dinh Nhu Chien and Inspirational prize awarded to author Nguyen Viet Hung.
At the event, Mr. Hoang Quoc Hoa, Director of the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, said that through the contest, he witnessed a young generation full of creativity and passion. “With eyes to admire, hearts to feel and the support of Samsung's AI technology that understands Vietnamese, they have created images, films, and inspiring stories that evoke love for their homeland and country, urging travelers to pack their backpacks and embark on exciting travel journeys. This is also the goal and meaning of the "Vietnam - Go to Love" tourism stimulus program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism,” said Mr. Hoa.
The final prize in the image category was awarded to author Dinh Nhu Chien.
Proud to witness the positive impacts created by the contest "Galaxy AI understands Vietnamese, honoring Vietnamese Tourism", Mr. Le Xuan Truong, Director of Marketing and Communications, Mobile Experience, Samsung Electronics Vietnam, feels extremely surprised at the way the young generation of Vietnam welcomes and exploits the power of the Galaxy S25 Series and Galaxy AI to create meaningful works.
“The contest is a highlight, a vivid proof that technology not only changes the way young people experience travel, but also spreads love for their homeland, turning every trip into a meaningful creative journey, contributing to promoting the beauty of Vietnam to the world,” Mr. Truong believes.
It is known that this content creation contest is an important part of the journey of "Honoring Vietnamese values" - Samsung's core strategy implemented since the launch of the Galaxy S25 Series. This strategy focuses on the power of Galaxy AI, with the ability to understand and process Vietnamese language superiorly developed by the team of Vietnamese engineers at Samsung Vietnam Research and Development Center (SRV). Samsung's series of activities has created a buzz when conveying the Vietnamese spirit with many meaningful messages.
Author Nguyen Viet Hung won the Inspiration Award.
Continuing to promote the achievements of the strategic partnership, Samsung Vietnam and the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will aim for a common goal, maximizing the potential of AI technology to preserve and promote cultural values, promote sustainable tourism and spread love for the homeland in every Vietnamese person.
In the coming time, the two sides will continue to promote this initiative to the country's travel and photography enthusiasts, to join them in writing the next chapter in their journey to explore and record travel experiences and local culture through the creative lens and intelligence of Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S25 Series.
