Tam Anh cooperates with Oxford University to enroll students in a research capacity building course

(Dan Tri) - Tam Anh Research Institute under Tam Anh General Hospital System in collaboration with Oxford University (UK) announced the enrollment of the first two training courses after the announcement in the UK on October 28.

Two courses with the topics “Research design approach: From methodological foundation to practical application”, “Data management: Foundation and application in the digital age” are the first steps for the official and comprehensive cooperation program between Tam Anh Research Institute, Tam Anh General Hospital System and Oxford University - “Tam Anh Oxford Partnership”.

The event aims to exchange training activities with the strengths of a university with a history of nearly 1,000 years in the UK with a leading private healthcare ecosystem in Vietnam in terms of professional quality, modern technology and a number of customers and patients with tens of millions of medical examinations, treatment and healthcare visits each year.

Enhance research capacity with the training course “Research design approach: From methodological foundation to practical application”

The course will take place from December 22 to December 26 at Tam Anh Research Institute, No. 2B, Pho Quang Street, Tan Son Hoa Ward, HCMC.

The target audience includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, medical technicians, research coordinators, postgraduate students and all those wishing to participate in scientific research, medical research and related fields.

The objective of the course is to help students approach the basic principles and improve their capacity in research according to international standards. That is to improve core research capacity, be able to proactively propose ideas, design and implement high-quality research on a solid foundation of science, ethics, data management and methodology towards international publications. The course enrolls 30 students.

Equip yourself with strategic data thinking with the course “ Data Management : Foundations and Applications in the Digital Age”

Dedicated to middle managers and leaders, the course “Data Management: Foundations and Applications in the Digital Age” takes place from December 29 to December 31 at Tam Anh Research Institute, No. 2B, Pho Quang Street, Tan Son Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

In the context that data is increasingly becoming the foundation for all management decisions, the course helps students understand the core concepts of data and data lifecycle; master the data governance framework according to international standards and suitable for the Vietnamese context... The course also selected 30 students.

Raising standards of capacity to access international knowledge in Vietnam

The courses are led by internationally renowned experts from Oxford University such as: Associate Professor, Dr. Proochista Ariana - International Development and Health Expert, Director of the Master's Program in International Health and Tropical Medicine, Nuffield School of Medicine, Oxford University; MSc. Dr. Ernest Guevarra - Lecturer, Senior Researcher, Master's Program in International Health and Tropical Medicine, Oxford University...

With a well-designed training program and the guidance of prestigious experts from Oxford University, the two courses aim to contribute to building a workforce with a solid scientific mindset, proficient in data analysis and the ability to conduct research according to international standards. This is a solid foundation for creating breakthroughs for Vietnam in scientific publications in the international arena.

In addition, students who complete the course will be awarded a certificate from Oxford University and the British Institute of Mindfulness.
