On June 17, Son Hai Group announced that the Ministry of Transport will hold the inauguration ceremony of the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway project at 3:00 p.m. on June 18.
The inauguration ceremony of Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway will be held tomorrow, June 18.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Director of Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway Investment Company Limited, for the inauguration ceremony to take place successfully, Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway will be temporarily closed from 6:00 a.m. to 0:00 a.m. on June 18.
"The Ministry of Transport will hold a simultaneous inauguration ceremony for the Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway projects from two online connection points in Binh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces with the participation of Party and State leaders. In which, online LED screens are installed on the expressway, so temporarily vehicles will move on National Highway 1," Mr. Huy informed.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Transport, the inauguration ceremony at the main bridge point in Binh Thuan was held at Km1604+700 of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway project (intersection with National Highway 1) in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district.
The bridge point in Khanh Hoa is at Km33+800 Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway in Cam Hiep Nam commune, Cam Lam district.
Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway will be temporarily closed from 6am to 12am on June 18.
To organize the inauguration ceremony, the Ministry of Transport requested the locality to coordinate with the Ministry, the relevant Project Management Board, and the investor to ensure logistics. At the same time, direct the provincial authorities to deploy plans to ensure safety, security, traffic flow, health , fire prevention and fighting, ensure power grid at the event area and grant permission to the event organizer to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (Fly cam) to record and take photos to build documents of the ceremony.
The Ministry of Transport also requested the Traffic Police Department to coordinate with the Project Management Boards and provincial functional forces to deploy a traffic diversion plan during the ceremony.
Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway is over 49 km long, started in September 2021, with a total cost of over 7,600 billion VND. The project has a scale of 4 lanes, starting at Dien Tho commune, Dien Khanh district, and ending at Cam Thinh Tay commune, Cam Ranh city. The project has applied many modern technologies in construction and has been 3 months ahead of schedule.
The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway started construction at the end of September 2020, with a length of 100.8 km, starting from Vinh Hao Commune, Tuy Phong District and ending in Ham Kiem Commune, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province. The route has a cross-section of 4 lanes for two-way traffic, with a total investment of 10,853 billion VND.
