On September 30, information from the Management Board of the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, Tay Ninh Province, said that it had issued a document announcing the temporary suspension of mountain climbing and picnicking activities at the Ba Den Mountain Cultural and Historical Forest from October 1.

The reason is that due to the current complex and unpredictable weather conditions of the rainy and stormy season, this area is at high risk of landslides, rolling rocks and slippery roads.

These factors can pose serious risks to the safety of life and property of visitors and residents.

According to this unit, in the past, there have been many cases of accidents while climbing mountains and picnicking in the area such as falling, getting lost... causing damage to the spirit and health of local people and tourists as well as making rescue work very difficult.

The tourist area management board also added that it will regularly coordinate with relevant authorities to regularly inspect, monitor and resolutely prevent and handle violations according to regulations.
