Tan Dong Commune, Tay Ninh Province is a large area, many rural roads still lack lighting for daily life, travel and security and order at night. Based on that practical need, on November 22, 2025, the Youth Union of the Southern Power Corporation in coordination with the Youth Union of Tay Ninh Power Company and the Tan Chau Power Management Team launched the youth project "Lighting up the countryside roads", bringing solar-powered lighting systems to people in hamlets in the area.
This is not only a purely professional activity, but also a journey to spread the light of civilization to rural areas, demonstrating the community responsibility and vanguard spirit of young people in the Electricity industry.

According to the plan, the project will be deployed in Dong Tien, Dong Hiep, Dong Bien and Dong Thanh hamlets with a total of 24 sets of 300W solar lights, installed along medium-voltage poles on many main roads with a total implementation cost of 25 million VND, taken from the budget of the Youth Union of the Southern Power Corporation.
The system is designed to ensure stable, safe, easy-to-maintain and environmentally friendly operation standards. Youth teams are mobilized to closely coordinate with local authorities in surveying, clearing, installing and handing over, contributing to creating a bright, green, clean and beautiful appearance for the residential area.

Along with the lighting system installation, on November 22, the working group also presented 10 gifts worth 5 million VND to disadvantaged households and families with revolutionary contributions in Tan Dong commune. The activity was a highlight in the youth project summary ceremony, demonstrating the Electricity sector's concern for community life.

The project "Lighting up the countryside roads" in Tan Dong commune not only contributes to improving living conditions and ensuring traffic safety at night, but also opens up a new, more civilized and modern rural appearance.
The light on the country roads is also the light of faith and aspiration to contribute that the youth of the Electricity industry always carry with them on their journey to serve the community.
