On August 26, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang awarded the 80-year Party membership badge to party member Tran Thi My Xuan (Tran Thi Kiep), a 100-year-old party member, batch 2-9.
At the house of Mrs. Tran Thi My Xuan (Tran Thi Kiep) in Duc Nhuan ward, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang kindly asked about her health and life. Mr. Tran Luu Quang also congratulated Mrs. Xuan on receiving the 80-year Party membership badge, wishing her to always live happily and healthily, continuing to pass on the torch to the next generation.
Ms. Tran Thi My Xuan (Tran Thi Kiep) was born in 1925 in Dong Thap province. She is the former Chief of Office of the Committee for the Protection of Mothers and Children of Ho Chi Minh City. She officially joined the Party in September 1945.
Currently, Ms. Tran Thi My Xuan is active in the Party Cell of Quarter 18, Duc Nhuan Ward Party Committee. Before 1975, Ms. Xuan worked for the Women's Union of Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi . Then she was in charge of the work of Protecting Mothers and Children at the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.
From April 1977 to November 1982, she was Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for the Protection of Mothers and Children.
