The Minister of Education and Training awarded a certificate of commendation to a compassionate female teacher in Dong Thap.

NDO - Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, a teacher at Thien Ho Duong High School in Dong Thap province, has overcome adversity to excel in her teaching duties. She is also a compassionate person, having established a scholarship fund to support hundreds of underprivileged students in continuing their education and helping many patients in difficult circumstances receive treatment.

On April 14th, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that representatives from the Ministry and the Vietnam Education Union had presented a Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of Education and Training to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, a teacher at Thien Ho Duong High School in Dong Thap province.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Minh Tam is one of the exemplary figures who overcame difficulties and wholeheartedly dedicated herself to the cause of educating future generations and contributing to the community.

In 2009, teacher Minh Tam unfortunately suffered a serious accident that severely affected her health and daily life. Overcoming adversity, she continued her studies, dedicated herself to her work, and excellently fulfilled her teaching duties.

For the past 16 years, Ms. Minh Tam has continuously spread the spirit of compassion through charitable activities such as organizing meals for the underprivileged, participating in charity runs, and founding the "Nhat Tam" Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship fund has raised over 7 billion VND, supporting hundreds of underprivileged students to continue their education and helping many patients in difficult circumstances receive treatment.

She was also one of the pioneers in registering to donate organs, demonstrating a high level of humanity and profound social responsibility.

Deeply moved upon receiving the Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of Education and Training, Ms. Minh Tam expressed her gratitude and affirmed that she will continuously strive to improve her teaching abilities and professional skills to further contribute to the cause of education.
