Mrs. Thong Thi Da's family is of Cham ethnicity, a poor household in the locality. They have been living in an old, dilapidated house for a long time, but have not had the means to rebuild it for many years. The house is expected to be built with an area of about 50 square meters, solid and airy, with a total construction cost of about 130 million VND. Of which, Venerable Thich Tam Tri - Abbot of Quan Am Pagoda (Duc Thuan Commune, Tanh Linh District) and benefactors supported 80 million VND, the rest was supported by family and relatives to help Mrs. Da.
At the groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for the poor, Mr. Nguyen Van Tri - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee thanked the donors for actively responding to the program of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 in Tanh Linh, contributing to taking care of the poor, helping them reduce the burden and difficulties in life. At the same time, he also hoped that after having a house to stabilize their lives, Ms. Thong Thi Da's family would continue to overcome difficulties, actively work and produce to escape poverty.
It is known that the implementation of building Great Solidarity houses for poor households is one of the activities demonstrating the community's concern and responsibility for poor households and at the same time demonstrating the spirit of mutual love of the Vietnamese people.
