Most of the forest area here is pure pine forest, especially during the tourist season, tourists often come here to burn incense and visit the scenery, so the risk of forest fires is very high. The April 30 and May 1 holidays this year last for 5 days, and it is forecasted that a large number of tourists will come to visit and relax in Sam Son City. In order to prevent and control forest fires during the tourist season in Sam Son City, the unit has advised the Party Committee and the authorities of Sam Son City to issue documents directing the work of forest protection and development (BV&PTR), forest fire prevention and control (PCCCR) in 2025, focusing on PCCCR.

At the same time, direct communes, wards and forest owners to strengthen forest fire prevention and fighting teams, forces on duty to guard forest fires in the field; focus on propagating to the masses in many forms, such as through conferences, distributing leaflets and brochures, through the loudspeaker system from the district to villages, hamlets, neighborhoods, and loudspeakers of temples and pagodas; sign commitments on forest fire prevention and fighting with households living along the forest; coordinate with schools to propagate forest fire prevention and fighting laws to students; Increase the broadcasting time on the commune and ward loudspeaker system during peak hot days and weekends when there are many tourists.

Sam Son City arranges reasonable places for burning votive papers, contributing to ensuring fire prevention and control work at relics.

Along with that, Thanh Hoa City Forest Protection Department has proactively coordinated with local authorities and relevant units to regularly patrol and inspect forest protection areas; propagate to people and tourists at temples, pagodas, places of spiritual worship such as Doc Cuoc Temple, Co Tien Temple, To Hien Thanh Temple, Hon Trong Mai, entertainment venues... to use fire according to regulations, not to break branches or cut down forest trees...

For the special-use forest on Truong Le mountain range with more than 300 Dalbergia tonkinensis trees, local forest rangers have coordinated with relevant units in Sam Son city to regularly patrol and propagate to people and tourists to voluntarily and strictly implement regulations on forest protection and fire prevention; inspect, detect and promptly handle violations of the Forestry Law. Along with that, direct local forest rangers to advise the ward People's Committee chairman and forest owners to review and handle spontaneous garbage dumps and household waste in and around the forest, instruct people to burn garbage to avoid spreading fire into the forest.

In addition, Thanh Hoa City Forest Protection Department coordinated with forest owners and People's Committees of communes and wards with forests to guide households to develop plans for forest protection and fire prevention... Functional forces have increased their forces, regularly monitor and control the area, and are on duty 24/7 in the Sam Son City area to propagate and remind tourists to proactively protect the forest. They have proactively prepared tools for forest protection and fire prevention such as blowers, chainsaws... Local authorities at all levels have prepared many types of equipment and tools, including many specialized machines and motor vehicles for forest protection and fire prevention.
