In July 2023, the Delegation of Ta Lung International Border Guard Station attended the Launching Ceremony of the border control brand "Joining hands to build friendship stations, building peaceful border gates together" in Long Chau district, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China). In the first 6 months of 2023, the border forces of the two sides held 7 talks with 46 officers participating; met at the border at the border post level 143 times; and conducted joint patrols from markers 942 - 945 with 24 participants. At the border gate, the two sides conducted the exchange and reception of 121 cases/3,787 citizens illegally entering and exiting the country... The two sides sent each other 509 letters; made 46 phone calls via the hotline. The content of the talks, letters and phone calls via the hotline was to exchange information on the epidemic situation; the situation of the border and border gates; crimes on the border; receiving and returning citizens illegally entering and exiting the country.

Colonel Dang Hong Quan, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, said: In the coming time, the Provincial Border Guard will well implement the cooperation mechanism with the border management force at the Chinese side; direct subordinate units at the station level to conduct regular meetings and border patrols to promptly exchange information, coordinate to handle incidents occurring on the border, effectively combat and prevent all types of crimes, illegal entry and exit activities and prevent epidemics.
