Strengthening the management of medical examination and treatment quality

In order to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment in a modern and professional manner, on June 23, the Quang Ninh Department of Health held a conference to evaluate the current status of medical examination and treatment quality management in the period 2015-2022 in the whole industry.

According to the evaluation report at the conference, all 24/24 medical units in the province have proactively implemented the Hospital Quality Criteria Set - including 83 criteria issued by the Ministry of Health . The units ensure the completion of medical examination and treatment tasks, and properly implement the regulations and rules in medical examination and treatment. Professional capacity is constantly improved, administrative procedures are reduced. Attitude towards work and behavior towards patients of medical staff has been positively improved.

The conference also provided an open and transparent analysis of existing problems, exchanged experiences in hospital quality management, and contributed ideas and proposed appropriate solutions.

Accordingly, the units continue to focus on improving capacity in managing the quality of medical examination and treatment according to 83 specific criteria set out, strengthening professional quality management, focusing on building checklists, monitoring compliance with technical procedures, ensuring patient safety, controlling infections, preventing medical incidents, maintaining and continuously improving quality, in the spirit of taking the patient as the center, meeting patient satisfaction.
