Facilitate investment and development of new and creative business ideas

At the conference announcing the results of the assessment of the set of criteria for assessing the competitiveness of departments, branches, sectors and localities (DDCI) of Vinh Long in 2023, one of the lessons learned was to emphasize the role and responsibility of managing departments, branches, sectors and district-level People's Committees to promote the improvement of the business environment.

In 2024, Vinh Long identified improving the business environment as a key priority task. The Provincial People's Committee requested all levels, sectors and localities to make substantial efforts, pay close attention to directing, resolutely and with a focus to remove difficulties, clear bottlenecks, contribute to promptly resolving difficulties and creating a favorable business environment for investment, business activities and the development of new and creative business ideas.

This was also clearly stated by Mr. Dang Van Chinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee: The assessment of competitiveness at the department, branch and local levels is important in economic management, promoting the role and responsibility of leaders in management to promote improvement of the business environment, improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (CPI). It is not only a solution to promote administrative reform, improve the quality of handling administrative procedures related to investors and enterprises, create the most favorable environment for investment, production and business activities, but also create more jobs, promote socio-economic development in the locality. This is also one of the criteria to assess the level of completion of political tasks in each department, branch and locality.
