Facilitate businesses to implement electronic invoices generated from cash registers

(CT) - Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 2754/UBND-KT on the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 88/CD-TTg dated June 12, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the management and use of electronic invoices (E-invoices) generated from cash registers, improving the efficiency of tax management for the sale of goods and provision of services directly to consumers.

The City People's Committee assigns the directors of departments, heads of city agencies and branches, and chairmen of district and commune People's Committees, within their functions and duties, to proactively deploy and organize the implementation of tasks as required in Official Dispatch No. 88/CD-TTg. The Tax Department of Region XIX shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to strengthen the propaganda, leadership, direction, and organization of the use of electronic invoices. Especially electronic invoices generated from cash registers, helping people, businesses, households, and individuals to clearly understand the benefits, responsibilities, and effectiveness of using electronic invoices. Review, support, and request business establishments to apply electronic invoices generated from cash registers, focusing on the activities of selling goods and providing services directly to consumers as stipulated in Decree No. 70/2025/ND-CP, ensuring favorable conditions for the creation and use of electronic invoices. Work immediately with businesses and software solution providers for electronic invoices generated from cash registers to find solutions to provide free software, reducing the cost of creating electronic invoices for businesses, especially households and individual businesses. Thereby providing substantial and effective support for small, micro-enterprises and business households, contributing to the effective and practical implementation of regulations on electronic invoices, promoting the development of the private economy . Strengthening connections and exchanging information and data with relevant departments, agencies and agencies for effective tax management.
