Creating favorable conditions for the Phu Son Waste Treatment Plant project to be put into operation soon

Reporting on the project, the investor representative said: The construction progress of the main plant including the waste incineration area, currently the construction progress is 82%, expected to complete the construction work by July 20, 2023; the installation progress is 92%, expected to complete the installation work by June 30, 2023.

Currently, the construction of pumping stations and water supply pipelines for Phu Son domestic waste treatment plant; the construction of a 22KV medium voltage line connecting Phu Son waste-to-energy plant to Phu Bai 110KV station are being implemented.

The investor also hopes that departments, branches, sectors and local authorities will create favorable conditions, support and guide legal procedures according to regulations to ensure conditions for the early trial operation of Phu Son domestic waste treatment plant.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee always creates favorable conditions to support investors in document and legal procedures and creates conditions for construction units to ensure project progress.

Mr. Phuong suggested that the investor take advantage of favorable weather to concentrate machinery, equipment and human resources, work overtime and increase shifts to speed up the construction progress of the remaining items of the project to soon complete and put the factory into operation as committed.

“The construction process must strictly ensure labor safety and construction quality. Construction must be carried out synchronously in terms of technical infrastructure, meeting high-tech technical requirements for solid waste treatment and fully meeting environmental protection requirements. Strengthen information exchange activities to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles during the construction process, as well as agree on the most suitable and effective construction methods to soon put the factory into operation,” emphasized Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong.

Regarding some difficulties and problems, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong requested departments, branches, sectors and local authorities to coordinate and guide investors in carrying out legal procedures and implementation processes to ensure conditions for the construction of the remaining items of the project. At the same time, he affirmed that the province is always consistent in its policy of accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for investors in the construction of the project to ensure progress.
