Create a comprehensive development environment

The primary and secondary boarding schools in the campaign to build 100 primary and secondary boarding schools are models to be replicated, aiming to complete 248 schools nationwide in the next 2-3 years.

* Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee:

The Provincial People's Committee will direct and coordinate closely with relevant agencies and units to ensure that the project of the primary and secondary school in the border area is implemented on schedule, with quality, safety and soon put into use. The Provincial People's Committee will also direct the Education sector to arrange a team of dedicated and responsible managers and teachers so that the school can truly become a happy school, a place to nurture knowledge and dreams for children in the border area.

* Mr. Do Duy Toai, Chairman of Ea Bung Commune People's Committee:

The Politburo 's policy of building a primary and secondary boarding school in a border commune has met the needs and aspirations of local people. However, in reality, the number of students in need of boarding is less than the total number of students who are beneficiaries of the program in the whole commune (about 600 students in need of boarding). Therefore, ministries and branches need to advise on policies for boarding/semi-boarding students specifically according to the target to effectively promote resources and meet actual needs. Because boarding students are very good, but family activities are also important for the comprehensive development of students. Evening activities at home are an ideal environment to strengthen relationships, connect generations, and consolidate traditional cultural values of the family.

* Phan Thi Thao Tien, class 5A, Y Jut Primary School, Buon Don commune:

My family has three children (the older sister is in 8th grade, the younger sister is 4 years old). My father and sister usually take me to school. However, there are many days when my father and sister are busy and pick me up late, I have to stay at school to wait for them. There are days when it is too late, all my friends have gone home, I have to walk home. If there is a multi-level school, I can stay in the dormitory, then I will be able to study and live with my sister at school very conveniently.

I hope the new school has a large playground with outdoor toys. The teachers always care and listen to us, helping us with our studies in class as well as studying at night. The school has enough clean water to drink, a swimming pool, a sports and arts playground... The school library is really large with many different genres of books from English to stories, science books so that I have many choices to read every day...
