TH Group promotes investment in the Chinese market

Healthy food and beverage products of TH Group (owner of the TH true MILK fresh milk brand) continue to affirm their position in the Chinese market.

Within the framework of the "Vietnam - China (Shandong) Trade Promotion, Investment and Trade Connection Conference" taking place on June 1, 2023 in Hanoi, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Trade Promotion Department) in coordination with the Shandong Provincial Trade Promotion Committee, China (CCPIT Shandong), fresh milk products, healthy drinks and other clean food products of TH Group attracted the attention of a large number of 200 units, enterprises, associations, companies, manufacturing and import-export corporations in many different fields of Vietnam and China participating in the event.

With GRDP ranked 3rd and population ranked 2nd in China with 101.62 million people, Shandong is a potential market and a province that plays an important role in the Chinese economy. In 2022, the two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Shandong reached nearly 14 billion USD, an increase of 35.1% compared to 2021, accounting for 2.79% of Shandong's total import-export turnover with the world and 14.14% of Shandong's import-export turnover with ASEAN.

In particular, in 2019, TH true MILK was the first Vietnamese enterprise to be eligible to be granted a transaction code by the General Administration of Customs of China, allowing it to officially export fresh milk products to China, officially obtaining a "passport" to enter the Chinese market, the market with the second largest milk consumption in the world with the world's most stringent and demanding quality standards.

Previously, since 2016, other products from TH's fresh milk (such as yogurt, drinking yogurt, etc.) have been officially exported and received special attention from consumers in the country of a billion people. TH products are also assessed by Chinese importers as having quality not inferior to products from European and American countries currently present in this market.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy - International Business Director of TH Group shared that dairy products such as fresh milk, yogurt, etc. of TH Group are currently popular products in the Chinese market, sold in supermarkets and e-commerce platforms.

“At the event, we would also like to introduce more dried fruit products, soft-dried fruit products and pure juices from Van Ho Fresh Fruit and Herbal Medicine Processing Factory - a project of TH Group. Vietnam has the advantage of being a tropical country with a variety of fruits, which can supplement the Chinese market. With a sustainable investment strategy and products “For community health”, the products that TH brings to the event today are of interest to many businesses” - Ms. Thuy added.

It is known that this is a follow-up activity of the TH Group's visit, work and participation in meetings and discussions with businesses and the Shandong provincial government at the invitation of the leaders of the Asia-Africa Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade in May 2023.

At the event, TH Group introduced 140 fresh milk products and healthy drinks along with completely new dried fruit and pure juice products from the Van Ho Fresh Fruit and Herbal Processing Factory project - a factory belonging to TH Group with special technological highlights - leading in the agricultural processing industry today, the products produced by the Factory retain intact the natural nutrients from fruits and are environmentally friendly.

Currently, Van Ho Fresh Fruit and Herbal Processing Factory is producing dried fruit products such as longan, mango, and pure juices such as orange, longan, etc.
