That message also touched the heart of a woman - Labor Hero Thai Huong, founder and Chairwoman of the TH Group Strategy Council. For many years, not only has the TH Group, under her leadership, not only laid a solid foundation for the clean milk revolution and the nutrition revolution for Vietnamese people, but it has also been a persistent pioneer in accompanying and actively contributing to the care of school nutrition and the comprehensive development of the nation's young generation.

Imprints from humane initiatives and cooperation
For over 15 years, with the heart and soul of a mother, Labor Hero Thai Huong has always persistently pursued the mission "For Vietnamese stature". The TH Group led by her has pioneered and initiated many programs such as the "National School Milk" Program, the "Vietnamese Nutrition" Project, and the "School Health" Program.
On the journey of serving and realizing the aspiration of creating products for community health, completely natural, Ms. Thai Huong has always devoted all her love and heart to her hometown Nghe An and always wishes to accompany and contribute to the issue of school nutrition in her home province, through effective and practical programs and actions.
In the 2013-2014 school year, TH Group pioneered in accompanying the National Institute of Nutrition - Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Training, with the advice of international experts, to conduct a pilot study on community intervention on the sterilized fresh milk product, TH SCHOOL MILK with sugar in Nghe An.

The program was implemented systematically, and Nghe An was also the only locality at that time that used clinically tested products in the program. This was a practical basis for promulgating school milk standards in the "National School Milk" Project, by Decision No. 1340/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, contributing to reducing the situation of bringing milk of unknown origin and not ensuring food hygiene and safety into schools; and then Decision No. 1660/QD-TTg approving the School Health Program.

In the 2020-2021 school year, the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with other ministries and branches, and leading independent nutrition experts from the international and Vietnamese sectors, and with the support of TH Group, implemented the "School meal pilot model ensuring proper nutrition combined with increased physical activity for children, pupils and students", deployed in 10 provinces and cities, in 5 major ecological regions, spread across the country, including Nghe An.
If children do not receive proper nutritional care during their "golden age" (0-12 years old) - the period that determines 86% of height and 80% of brain development, then the opportunity for lifelong development will be missed.
After 1 year of implementation, the pilot model has shown outstanding results in improving physical fitness, reducing malnutrition and overweight, enhancing concentration, discipline and confidence for children. The pilot model is considered a comprehensive and revolutionary solution to improve the stature of Vietnamese people, a scientific and practical basis for developing a School Nutrition Law associated with comprehensive education.

Fresh glasses of milk fuel the future
With the "School Milk" Program in Nghe An, from the 2015-2016 school year up to now, millions of preschool and primary school students in the province have used school milk. However, in the short term as well as in the long term, to ensure continuity, avoid interruptions in children's enjoyment of nutritional benefits, as well as ensure scientific factors and effective impact on improving children's physical strength, intelligence and stature, Nghe An needs a plan and implementation mechanism for the "School Meal" Program in the coming time.

Accordingly, each child/student who goes to school every day will enjoy a school meal built according to the standard formula of the 400 menus that the experts of the above-mentioned model have built, for parents and schools to refer to and choose from, in which the meal includes a glass of school milk.
The funding source for the program can be deployed through a socialized mechanism, including the provincial budget, the support of businesses (including TH Group), and the sharing of parents; students from poor households and families with revolutionary contributions will be supported depending on the level.
This humanitarian program will aim to bring the greatest benefits to children of golden age, serving the development of high-quality human resources for the province and the country.
TH Group and genuine food businesses are ready to accompany the province's policies on school nutrition, with the hope that Nghe An will become a national model in realizing school nutrition policies.
