The launch at Trump Tower in New York marks the Trump Organization's foray into a new area, Reuters reported. The Trump Mobile brand signals an effort to appeal to conservative consumers.
On its website, the company notes that Trump Mobile was announced on the 10th anniversary of Trump's "historic" presidential campaign.
"Trump Mobile is a next-generation wireless service provider with bold ambitions and a mission to put customers first," the group asserted.
Accordingly, Trump Mobile will provide 5G service through all three major mobile carriers, with the main package "The 47 Plan", priced at $47.45 per month. Coincidentally, the numbers 45 and 47 are Mr. Trump's order number in the list of US presidents.
The Trump Organization also advertises that subscribers will get unlimited calling, texting, and data, along with comprehensive device protection, telemedicine services, and free calling to more than 100 countries.
DTTM Operations, the unit that manages the Trump brand, has also filed to trademark the name "T1 Phone" for the new phone that will be revealed in August. According to the Trump Organization, the smartphone will be shiny gold, high-performance, and proudly designed and manufactured in the United States.
Consumers can use The 47 Plan with their existing smartphones, but if they want to upgrade, they can consider the T1, which runs Google's Android operating system, according to the Trump Organization.

The Trump family has long been known for its real estate empire, luxury hotels and golf resorts. However, in recent years, the group has ventured into newer areas including digital media and cryptocurrencies.
The US smartphone industry is one of the most saturated and competitive in the world , with leading global companies Apple and Samsung dominating the market.
American consumers buy more than 60 million smartphones each year, but most of these devices are made overseas.
While US-based tech brands are strong, there is virtually no significant domestic smartphone manufacturing infrastructure.
The main reasons are high labor costs, complex supply chains and dependence on foreign sources of components.
Meanwhile, the US mobile network market is currently in the hands of three carriers: Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, which account for more than 95% of the wireless market.
These companies operate massive, capital-intensive infrastructures and provide end-to-end services to tens of millions of subscribers.
