Saigon Medical Group at VOS 2025: Academic contributions to Vietnamese Ophthalmology.

Recently, the Saigon Medical Group's medical team attended the Vietnam Ophthalmology Conference (VOS) 2025 in Hai Phong. In which, the report of Master - Doctor Nguyen Trong Duc (Saigon Eye Hospital Can Tho) excellently won First Prize in the Cataract and Refractive Surgery session.

The Vietnam Ophthalmology Society Conference (VOS) 2025 - a major and prestigious annual event in the field of Ophthalmology, has just officially closed after exciting and effective working days in Hai Phong city. This year's event is even more meaningful as it takes place on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Ophthalmological Society (1960 - 2025) and is an important step towards the goal of "Vision 2030 - The Right to See".

Gathering more than 2,000 delegates who are professors, doctors, leading experts at home and abroad, it is a place to update and share advanced trends and techniques. In particular, the report "Application of weak ZIN system support device for Phaco surgery" by Master - Doctor Nguyen Trong Duc, Deputy Director of Professional Affairs - Saigon Eye Hospital Can Tho has excellently won First Prize at the Cataract and Refractive Surgery reporting session. This achievement is not only a personal honor but also a vivid proof of the deep expertise, innovative spirit and ability to handle complex surgeries of the team of doctors in the Saigon Eye Hospital system.

Other reports also demonstrated the depth of expertise in many fields. In the Refractive Surgery specialty, the results of "personalized refractive surgery according to corneal mapping" from patients with myopia correction using EYESignature™ technology at the hospital; comprehensive evaluations of the ReLEx SMILE technique and the application of laser to link corneal mapping were presented. The field of Vitreous Surgery was clarified through the results of Phaco surgery to place advanced intraocular lenses and endothelial cell protection methods.
