Professional training for managers of educational institutions

On August 7, the provincial Department of Education and Training held a training conference on testing and evaluating according to the competency framework for Math and Vietnamese for grade 5; teaching and developing reading comprehension skills for students in ethnic minority areas; and teaching and integrating national defense and security education content in primary education institutions in the 2025-2026 school year.

The training course was attended by 244 principals and vice principals of 244 primary education institutions in the province. During the program, the participants learned some core issues on student assessment according to the competency framework of the Math and Vietnamese program for grade 5; methods of organizing teaching activities to develop learners' qualities and capacities; forms of organization, methods of regular assessment, periodic assessment; according to the competency framework of Math and Vietnamese for grade 5; the process of compiling questions and organizing periodic tests for Math and Vietnamese for grade 5 according to Circular No. 27/2020/TT-BGDDT; practicing building matrices and Vietnamese test questions according to the competency framework. In addition, the program also focuses on guiding the development of teaching plans integrating national defense and security education content into subjects and educational activities in primary schools; Implement the basic contents of the reading comprehension development program for ethnic minority students from grades 1 to 5.

The training program took place over 3 days (from August 7-9), helping school managers to be trained and improve their capacity to organize and manage professional activities, contributing to the effective implementation of tasks for the new school year 2025 - 2026.
