At the conference, the trainees listened to a reporter from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor disseminate general issues on occupational safety and health; regulations on the rights and duties of employers, employees and trade unions regarding occupational safety and health; the purpose and significance of occupational safety and health; organization, management and implementation of occupational safety and health regulations at agencies and enterprises; skills in identifying, assessing, managing, controlling risks and measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace; regimes on occupational accidents, occupational diseases, toxic allowances, etc.

In addition to imparting knowledge, the presenter also spent time for the trainees to exchange, discuss and learn about practical issues related to occupational safety and health, policies and regulations related to workers at the unit. All trainees' questions were answered and given specific instructions.

Through the conference, the aim is to equip knowledge, strengthen skills and practical experience in occupational safety and health for grassroots trade union officials and officers working in occupational safety and health, and workers in enterprises, contributing to preventing and minimizing occupational accidents and diseases, protecting the safety of life and health of workers.
