- On August 14, the Department of Education and Training organized training and guidance on training and implementation of STEM education and digital citizenship skills education at primary school level.

Training overview

The training course was organized in both direct and online formats between the provincial bridge and the bridges at primary education institutions in the province. Participating in the direct training were 244 delegates who were managers in charge of primary school expertise. Participating in the online training at 155 bridges across the province were more than 4,200 delegates who were experts in charge of cultural and social fields in communes and wards; managers, IT teachers, teachers of core cultural subjects on the implementation of digital citizenship skills and STEM education.

At the training course, delegates were guided and oriented by the reporters on the implementation of STEM education, digital citizenship skills education and digital transformation at the primary level today. Along with that, delegates were trained to improve the contents including: developing educational plans, designing and developing lesson plans for STEM education content at the primary level; developing educational plans, strengthening plans, and plans for digital citizenship skills education clubs at the primary level; developing educational plans that integrate digital citizenship skills education, designing and developing lesson plans for digital citizenship skills education content into primary school subjects.

Through the training program, the aim is to promptly equip knowledge and skills, helping staff and teachers improve their capacity in implementing STEM education, digital citizenship skills education and digital transformation at the primary level, meeting the 2018 General Education Program.
