Firefighting and escape skills training for more than 2,000 people in Da Lat

(LĐ online) - More than 2,000 students, teachers, parents and people in Da Lat city participated in the propaganda and training program on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue skills (PCCC and CNCH) organized by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police at Quang Trung Secondary School on June 14 and 15.

The program aims to improve knowledge and skills in responding to fire incidents for people, especially school-age children. With careful preparation and synchronous coordination between units, many simulation situations close to reality have been deployed, helping participants access knowledge in an intuitive and vivid way.

Here, students, teachers and parents directly practiced rescue techniques, escaping in environments with dense smoke; handling fires caused by gas leaks with portable fire extinguishers; spreading hoses, spraying water to put out fires and escaping using inclined rope bridges.

In each step of the training, there is guidance from specialized officers and soldiers, ensuring absolute safety for all stages of the experience. In parallel, each practice content is integrated with a section on legal propaganda, introducing measures to prevent fire and explosion incidents in houses, apartments and crowded places, all of which are places with many potential risks.

In addition to the goal of imparting knowledge, the activity also helps people better understand the work of the Fire Police and Rescue Force - a profession that is always associated with danger and requires absolute courage. Empathy, sharing and support for the People's Fire Prevention and Fighting Movement are also widely spread from practical training sessions like this.
