Training on "Skills in organizing practical activities, building libraries - bookcases and STEM/STEAM education"

On November 22, Son La Provincial Museum and Library held the opening ceremony of the training course on "Skills in organizing practical activities, building libraries - bookcases and STEM/STEAM education" in 2025. The training course was attended by 144 students who are school librarians, teachers and education managers in the whole province.

During the 4 days, trainees were trained on topics such as: Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in library activities - introducing tools, software and digital solutions to support management, communication, book introduction and interaction with readers; application of STEM/STEAM in library activities - introducing concepts, principles and roles of STEM/STEAM in education and in modern library activities; skills in designing STEM/STEAM activities for libraries - guidance on building themes, planning, designing practical and creative activities suitable for each target group; organizing STEM/STEAM activities in schools - sharing models and methods of effective coordination between libraries and schools in implementing experiential activities.

Through the training course, it will contribute to improving the professional capacity of the team of librarians - teachers - educational managers, at the same time promoting library activities, developing reading culture and STEM/STEAM education in Son La to become more effective, modern and close to the community.
