Training on loan entrustment procedures from the Social Policy Bank

From April 23-26, in Vinh city, Nghe An Provincial Women's Union organized a training conference on loan entrustment from the Social Policy Bank in 2025.

Participating in the training conference were specialized officials of the Women's Union of the province, district, city, and town; heads of savings and loan groups (TK&VV) entrusted throughout the province.

Currently, 20/20 Women's Unions of districts, cities and towns in the province have directed the construction of 47 community savings and credit group models, organized launching ceremonies and implemented activities at the groups according to plan. By March 30, 2024, the Women's Unions of provinces, districts and communes had built 309 community savings and credit groups, with 21,630 members participating in 309 communes and organized activities in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, delegates were trained by the reporters of the Social Policy Bank and the Provincial Women's Union in the professional skills of entrusting the Social Policy Bank and shared experiences in implementing the source of entrusted loans (Some new policies and guidelines on social policy credit; Improving skills, quality of inspection and supervision of entrusted loan activities from the Social Policy Bank; Solutions to improve the quality of entrusted activities of the union at all levels). At the same time, guidance was given on the management of records, activities and assessment of the construction of "Savings and Credit Groups towards sustainability associated with community activities".

This activity aims to improve knowledge and professional skills in entrusting loans from the Social Policy Bank for specialized officials of the provincial and district Women's Unions, and leaders of sustainable savings and credit groups associated with community activities; Evaluate the results of building sustainable savings and credit groups associated with community activities in the period 2024 - 2030 as set out.

Speaking at the training conference, comrade Le Thi Huong Giang - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union said that in recent times, all levels of the union have proactively coordinated with the Bank for Social Policies to pay attention to propaganda and dissemination of the Party and State's policies on social policy credit; credit programs for poor households and other policy beneficiaries for members of the community savings and credit groups.

In the coming time, continue to focus on propaganda at community savings and credit group activities so that members strictly comply with the Convention on community activities of savings and credit groups in a sustainable manner, at the same time, raise awareness and responsibility for members of savings and credit groups according to Decision No. 15/QD-HDQT when borrowing social policy credit capital, and share experiences in using loans for the right purpose and effectively.
