Training on culture, sports and tourism for civil servants and public employees of communes and wards in the province

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, chairing the conference; comrades leaders of departments under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of the People's Committees of communes and wards; leaders and consultants of the Department of Culture - Society , leaders and professional staff of the General Service Center of 45 communes and wards in the province.

The conference aims to ensure the synchronous and unified direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial People's Committee on the principles of decentralization and delegation of power within the scope of state management of culture, sports and tourism. Thereby promptly implementing legal documents on decentralization and delegation of power. At the same time, equipping knowledge and professional skills for civil servants and public employees of communes and wards after the arrangement on basic issues of operation of local governments at 2 levels. As well as guiding, answering questions, removing difficulties, making recommendations and proposals from grassroots practices, ensuring the professional activities of the sector are unified, continuous, smooth, uninterrupted and effective. Therefore, the conference focuses on issues in the fields of culture, sports and tourism that communes and wards are interested in.

At the conference, leaders of the professional and technical management departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented 4 main topics: Topic 1 "Implementing decentralization and delegation of authority; management and development of cultural and family fields"; Topic 2 "Implementing decentralization and delegation of authority; management, protection and promotion of cultural heritage values in the province"; Topic 3 "Implementing decentralization and delegation of authority; management and development of sports and physical training"; Topic 4 "Disseminating the list of legal documents, resolutions, programs, projects and plans; organization of the Northwest - Dien Bien Quintessence Festival in 2025; implementation of tourism resource investigation in the area". After the topics, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department's professional departments focused on discussing and answering difficulties and problems at the grassroots level of communes and wards according to each management field.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Hoang Hiep requested that communes and wards pay attention to a number of contents such as: Promoting the propaganda of the political tasks of the country and the province in the coming time; needing to boldly advise and propose goals, orientations and tasks in the documents of the Party Congress of communes and wards on indicators related to the fields of culture, sports and tourism; being ready to fully participate in major cultural, sports and tourism events of the province; advising on organizing the Sports Festival at commune and ward levels and establishing a delegation to participate in the Sports Festival at provincial level... He also requested that communes and wards create conditions for specialized departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to effectively implement the National Target Programs such as: Village sweeping festival of the Phu La ethnic group in Muong Mun commune; Preserving folk songs, folk dances and folk music of the Ha Nhi ethnic group in Sin Thau commune; Preserving folk songs, dances and music of the Cong ethnic group in Thanh Yen and Muong Cha communes; and clan ceremonies of the White Mong ethnic group in Quai To commune.
