According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, up to now, the total output of the 4 main construction packages is 48.8% (exceeding about 0.04% of the contract value). The total capital allocated at the beginning of 2025 is 3,449 billion VND. Up to the time of reporting, nearly 638 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching a rate of 18.5%...

At the meeting, members of Steering Committee 2168, leaders of relevant departments, branches, localities, contractors and construction units discussed, exchanged and resolved difficulties and obstacles; proposed solutions to speed up construction progress, strive to complete component project 1 before June 30, 2026, ensuring quality as committed.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Steering Committee 2168 of An Giang province Le Hong Quang praised the efforts of agencies, units, localities, contractors, engineers and workers to speed up construction progress beyond the set plan.

To complete the first phase of the project before June 30, 2026 in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister , Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang requested that members of the Steering Committee, the Working Group, and contractors continue to promote their sense of responsibility to the fullest extent, based on the assigned tasks, promptly and well implement the assigned key tasks.

The Provincial Project Management Board monitors and urges contractors to increase machinery and equipment to organize construction to ensure project progress and quality. Regularly inspect and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles; promptly urge and issue written reminders to investors and construction units to ensure project implementation progress.

The exploitation and supply of sand and stone must comply with the capacity stipulated by law, Government resolutions and conclusions of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. The Provincial People's Committee shall lead and direct the exploitation, supply and transportation to the construction site to ensure compliance with legal regulations and resolutely handle violations.

The Provincial Project Management Board monitors and urges contractors to promptly implement the construction of the resettlement area. The Department of Agriculture and Environment promptly advises the Provincial People's Committee to allocate sand resources to build the resettlement area, in order to soon stabilize the lives of affected households. In addition, promptly complete the process and procedures for adjusting and supplementing the investment scale, completing the intelligent traffic management system, rest stops, intersections and public service works in component project 1 and submit them to the competent authority for approval for synchronous implementation.

An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Le Hong Quang requested: Each member of the Steering Committee and the Working Group must continue to improve their responsibility in performing their tasks; proactively handle work according to assigned tasks, promptly report and seek opinions on complex, sensitive issues, and newly arising issues beyond their authority.
