In Dong Nai , the number of poor and near-poor households and people in difficult circumstances included in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is 265 households and 110 families with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in need of housing support.
To date, 168 houses have been supported and started construction before April 30, 2025. Currently, for families with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs, the house construction support fund is 120 million VND. Poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances are supported to build houses with 80 million VND.
In order to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances before June 15, 2025, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Cao Van Quang requested that in cases of difficulties in conditions for building and repairing houses, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in districts and cities must have solutions to remove and resolve for each specific family in order to soon come up with the most optimal plan with the goal of supporting people to have solid houses for a stable life.
At the same time, departments, districts and cities coordinate to review the list of subjects requesting to build and repair houses in the area in order not to miss any cases in need of support.
