(DN) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc has just signed Document No. 6568/UBND-KGVX dated May 27, 2025 on implementing Conclusion No. 555-KL/TU dated May 21, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee at a working session with the Standing Committee of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee on implementing the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the arrangement and merger of the province.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to urgently preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to focus on promptly resolving policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who are on leave due to the implementation of the organizational arrangement of the political system according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP amended and supplemented by Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government to ensure timeliness and compliance with regulations.

At the same time, the Department of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with agencies and units to synchronously deploy the work of collecting and editing district-level archives according to regulations to be completed before June 30, 2025 and develop a plan to digitize documents and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance of Binh Phuoc province and related units to unify the plan for handling finance, assets, equipment, facilities, investment projects, headquarters arrangement and other related contents when implementing the organizational arrangement.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology of Binh Phuoc province to prepare transmission lines and facilities for one-stop shops in 40 communes, wards and towns of Binh Phuoc province and 55 communes, wards and towns of Dong Nai province that are expected to be newly established, ensuring smooth operation and implementation of administrative procedures after July 1, 2025.

The Department of Science and Technology coordinates with units of Binh Phuoc province to complete the plan to prepare for the consolidation of data, software, and information technology systems to serve the management work after the merger. This work must be completed before June 25, 2025.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction of Binh Phuoc province and related units to unify the plan to prepare accommodation and means of transportation for officials and civil servants of Binh Phuoc province to work in Dong Nai province.
