As the permanent member of the Steering Committee for the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" Movement of the province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has advised the People's Committee of Lao Cai province on consolidating the Steering Committee for the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" Movement and family affairs in the province; issued a plan for implementing the movement, a plan for organizing the conference summarizing the 5-year "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" Movement for the period 2021-2025; guided communes and wards in evaluating and recognizing cultural titles in 2025 according to the new regulations on two-level government; and developed a plan for inspecting the movement throughout the province in 2025.
It is projected that by 2025, 85.5% of households in the province will achieve the title of "Culturally Advanced Household," and 77.5% of villages and residential areas will achieve the title of "Culturally Advanced Village/Neighborhood."

Residential areas throughout the province enthusiastically organized the National Unity Day celebration.
Simultaneously, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has guided localities to review and compile statistics on village regulations and customs; implemented the construction of 10 model regulations and customs associated with forest protection, building and implementing civilized lifestyles, and building new rural areas. It has also guided localities to review and compile statistics on the current state of cultural institutions and implement several aspects regarding activities, standards, and area for cultural and sports facilities at the commune and village levels after the two levels of government come into operation.
To date, 100% of communes and wards have cultural centers, and 96% of villages and residential areas have cultural centers to serve the needs of the people.

Focus on effectively implementing the movement for national unity in building a cultured way of life; taking the goal of building cultured families in villages, hamlets, communes, and wards as the core of the movement.
By 2026, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism aims for 86% of households to achieve the "cultural household" title and 78% of villages/hamlets/residential areas to achieve the "cultural village/hamlet/neighborhood" title.
Focus on effectively implementing the nationwide movement for solidarity in building a cultured way of life; taking the goal of building cultured families in villages, hamlets, communes, and wards as the core of the movement; the campaign to build a cultured way of life in residential areas is linked to the New Rural Development Program and the Civilized Urban Development Program.
Focus on family-related work. Continue advising the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the Project on Propaganda and Education on Ethics and Lifestyle in Vietnamese Families; maintain and expand models of clubs for preventing domestic violence and the Code of Conduct in the Family; and pilot the model of a club called "Say No to Child Marriage and Consanguineous Marriage".
Organize activities to commemorate the 25th Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2026). Develop models that link village customs and regulations with forest protection, environmental protection, and the construction of new rural areas.
