Busy preparing for the day of merging communes and wards

Officials and civil servants of Thach Loi commune (Cam Giang) proactively prepared documents for the thematic meeting of the People's Council of the commune. This is the last meeting of the People's Council of Thach Loi commune and will consider and approve the contents related to the merger of the commune with Cam Giang town.

People come to the "one-stop" department of Thach Loi commune (Cam Giang) mainly to carry out procedures that are needed immediately, while the unnecessary things wait until the merger is completed.

Gia Loc district has the most communes merged in Hai Duong province during this period, in which Gia Tan commune merged with Gia Khanh commune to form Gia Phuc commune. The route through Gia Tan commune is being considered for investment and upgrading by Gia Loc district to make it convenient for people to travel to the new Gia Phuc commune headquarters (current Gia Khanh commune headquarters).

Implementing the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of the province, Hai Duong arranged 57 commune-level administrative units into 29 new units, reducing 28 units (27 communes, 1 ward). After the arrangement, Hai Duong province has 207 commune-level administrative units (151 communes, 46 wards, 10 towns).

From December 1, 2024, 29 new commune-level administrative units of Hai Duong province will officially come into operation.
