The congress gathered more than 700 athletes from agencies, units, schools and armed forces in the area.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Vice Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Committee Nguyen Viet Cuong emphasized: "The Congress is not only a sports festival for all people but also an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of solidarity, the will to rise up, and the spirit of persistent training of cadres and people. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of the movement of All people uniting to build a cultural life and the goal of building a civilized, rich, beautiful and livable Tay Ho ward".

The opening ceremony of the 1st Tay Ho Ward Sports Festival - 2025 took place brilliantly and emotionally with a parade demonstrating the strength of 16 blocks, gathering more than 700 athletes and the public. The festival was vibrant and attractive with lion dance performances, health care for the elderly, cheerleading, Taekwondo martial arts... elaborately staged, demonstrating the youth, sportsmanship and pride of Tay Ho people.

At the Games, athletes competed in 11 sports, suitable for all ages, from youth to the elderly. All demonstrated the spirit of "Solidarity - Honesty - Nobility - Progress", contributing to dramatic and attractive matches, spreading the passion for sports to all classes of people.

Not only a health training festival, the first Tay Ho Ward Sports Festival is also an opportunity to discover and nurture young talents, aiming for high-performance sports, and at the same time, building a solid foundation for the ward's strong sports.
