Tay Ninh has a work that won the prize at the 2nd Eastern Songwriting Contest.

After 2 months of launching, the contest attracted the participation of 47 authors from 6 provinces and cities in the Southeast region, with a total of 142 songs. Through the selection process, the Jury selected and awarded 13 outstanding works.

Musician Duy Long ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) with the song Spring returns to the homeland won the first prize. The second prize went to author Tran Tam (Dong Nai) with the song Singing with Chinh'Cla and musician Vu Huong (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) with the song Mien Dong, a proud song. The third prize went to author Doan Quang Trung (Dong Nai) with the song "Mien Dong is proud of Chien Khu D" and Huynh Kha Huyen (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) with the song "Tu Mien Dong we are ready".

The song Tay Ninh Ngay Moi by musician Nguyen Quoc Dong - member of the Vietnam Musicians Association of Tay Ninh province won the Encouragement Prize. This is the second time he has won the prize at this competition.

Musician Nguyen Quoc Dong won the Encouragement Prize in the Eastern Songwriting Contest.

The Eastern Songwriting Contest is a regional music playground, contributing to honoring the beauty of the land and people of the Southeast region, while encouraging musicians to compose more works associated with the identity of their homeland.
