Tay Ninh celebrates the liberation of the South and national reunification day

The joyful, jubilant and bustling atmosphere filled the streets. Pride spread everywhere, imbued in every eye and smile of the people. On the face of every person, from the elderly to the children, there was a radiant joy.

On the evening of April 29, at Xuan Hong Park, Tay Ninh solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification, the 50th anniversary of Tay Ninh Liberation Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and received the First Class Labor Medal from the President .

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, people from all over flocked to Tay Ninh city, Immerse yourself in the exciting atmosphere of the night before the great national festival. Witnessing this sacred moment, in the hearts of every Tay Ninh resident in particular and the children of Vietnam in general, there are indescribable emotions.

In the open space of Xuan Hong Park, people can visit an exhibition with about 200 images of Tay Ninh during the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism (1861-1975); Tay Ninh after April 30, 1975.

In addition, everyone was delighted by the 50 booths displaying artifacts and products... reflecting the economic, cultural, social, defense and security achievements after 50 years of the province's liberation; the space for performing intangible cultural heritage to recreate, display, perform and let visitors experience 9 intangible cultural heritages of the province.

The ceremony was held on a grand scale, from solemn rituals such as the visit, incense offering and wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs to special art programs recreating the arduous but glorious struggle of our army and people.

Each performance and each documentary film "Tay Ninh 50 years - Construction, innovation, development, integration" (1975-2025) evokes deep memories of a difficult but also heroic historical period.

We relive the boiling revolutionary days, see the brave fighting spirit and noble sacrifice of many generations of fathers and brothers to regain independence and freedom for our homeland.

Especially, when listening to the passionate speeches of the provincial leaders, we are further imbued with the value of peace and independence.

The achievements that Tay Ninh has achieved over the past 50 years, from a land that suffered much pain and loss due to war, has risen to become a dynamic province, developing in many economic , cultural and social fields, further increasing the pride in each person. That is a strong testament to the strong will, solidarity and aspiration of the people of Tay Ninh.

Not only the elderly, who directly experienced the emotional years of war, but also today's young generation feel the sacredness and meaning of the ceremony.

Through historical stories and vivid images, young people have better understood the value of independence, freedom, and their responsibility in building and defending the Fatherland.

At 9 p.m., fireworks lit up the sky of Tay Ninh city. The crisp sound of fireworks echoed throughout the space, like warm applause welcoming a historical milestone.

I clearly felt the harmony between the glorious past and the beautiful present. Each firework is like a tribute to those who fell for the independence and freedom of Tay Ninh, and at the same time an affirmation of the strong vitality and brilliant achievements that the province has achieved in the past half century.

The cheers and applause of the people echoed with each burst of fireworks, creating a bustling, jubilant atmosphere. In that moment, it seemed that all distances disappeared, leaving only the consensus and joy of the whole community. The eyes sparkling with happiness of the elderly, the bright smiles of the children, all created a beautiful and emotional picture.

The 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South, national reunification and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Tay Ninh is not only an opportunity for us to review the heroic traditions of the nation and pay tribute to those who have contributed to the country, but also an opportunity to review the achievements and set development goals for the future.

Tay Ninh today has taken on a new, beautiful and vibrant appearance. Wide roads, modern industrial zones, green fields… all are the result of the tireless efforts of the Party Committee, Government and People of the province.

Leaving the ceremony, each person's heart still resounded with the heroic sounds of history, still filled with sacred emotions. We believe that, with its glorious revolutionary tradition, spirit of solidarity and will to be self-reliant, Tay Ninh will continue to reap more successes on the path to building an increasingly bright and prosperous future.
