Việt NamViệt Nam04/02/2024

Tet is a time for people to rest, return to their hometowns to visit grandparents, parents, relatives, and friends… The rest of the time is spent traveling and celebrating Tet.

Rediscovering the beauty of nature

Visiting the beautiful natural landscapes of one's homeland is a popular choice for many. Phu Yen province boasts numerous places to explore and admire, especially along the coastline from Cu Mong Bay to Vung Ro, with many stunning sights such as: Hon Nan, Nhat Tu Son (Song Cau town), Ganh Da Dia, Ganh Den, Hon Yen, Hon Chua (Tuy An district), Bai Tien, Bai Goc, Bai Mon - Mui Dien (Dong Hoa town)...

The land of golden flowers on green grass also boasts vast fields, endless plains, undulating hills, and lush green valleys.

We invite tourists to explore the mountainous regions, especially the three western districts of the province: Song Hinh, Son Hoa, and Dong Xuan. Each area boasts numerous interesting places to visit and experience, such as: H'Ly Waterfall (Song Hinh commune), Jrai Tang Waterfall (Ea Trol commune, Song Hinh district); Mai Nha Rock (Son Long commune), Ho Chi Minh Memorial Church and the Phu Yen provincial base during the resistance against the US (Son Dinh commune, Son Hoa district); Suoi Mo Stream (Xuan Lanh commune), Triem Duc hot spring (Xuan Quang 2 commune), Tra O hot spring (Xuan Long commune, Dong Xuan district); Cay Du Waterfall (Song Cau town); Song Gorge, Hom Gorge (An Linh commune, Tuy An district)...

Must-visit check-in spots

People in Phu Yen and tourists visiting this land of golden flowers on green grass during Tet (Lunar New Year) cannot miss these "hot trend" check-in spots.

Nghinh Phong Tower Square is the centerpiece of Tuy Hoa's coastal park and high-end resort area, creating a modern, airy coastal urban space with blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine. At the end of 2023, Nghinh Phong Tower Square won a double international award for: Asian Architecture and Landscape and World's Leading City Tourism Project. This affirms its unique value and new symbol of the dynamic, green, and beautiful young city of Tuy Hoa, a new symbol of Phu Yen tourism.

Ho Son regulating lake is likened to a graceful princess, gently and shyly embodying traditional beauty amidst the city, while also being connected to two culturally and spiritually significant landmarks: Ho Son Ancient Temple (an ancient temple built in the 18th century) and the sacred mountain in the city: Chop Chai. The design of the regulating lake is quite unique and highly aesthetic. The lake features bridges with winding railings, miniature landscapes, parks, and walking paths, offering visitors countless stunning photo opportunities.

The flying dragon mascot is located in the Youth Park, right next to Ho Son regulating lake, on Hung Vuong - Dien Bien Phu road. The two main entrances to the park feature two clusters of majestic, graceful, and aesthetically pleasing flying dragon mascots. This is a must-visit destination this Tet holiday.

Truc Lam Phu Yen Zen Monastery, located on a high point in Quang Duc village, An Tho commune (Tuy An district), covers an area of over 34 hectares. The newly completed and operational main structures include: the triple-arched gate, the main hall, the bell tower, the drum tower, and internal roads. From this high vantage point, one can gaze out in all four directions at the vast and majestic landscape. To the south is Tuy Hoa city, to the east is the East Sea, and to the north and west are rolling hills and mountains. The triple-arched gate soars into the white clouds like a gateway to heaven. The air here is particularly cool throughout the day.

The sunflower garden, located near Ngoc Lang vegetable village on the banks of the Ba River (Binh Ngoc commune, Tuy Hoa city), is picturesque and stands out for its meticulous care and investment by human hands. The sunflower garden, currently in full bloom, stretches far and wide; there's also a garden of cosmos flowers, a greenhouse area with fresh fruits and vegetables; rows of coconut trees along the riverbank; and a traditional Mongolian-style round house… all captivating visitors who love to take photos.

Jrai Tang Waterfall (Ea Trol commune) is a natural ecological area that is becoming a prominent destination in Song Hinh district. Here, visitors can hear the roaring sound of the waterfall and the gentle murmur of the stream, like stories being told or songs sung by the Ede people. This tourist spot offers many new services during the Lunar New Year of the Dragon, such as camping, BBQ, swimming in the stream, and many natural spaces for visitors to take photos and enjoy the scenery…
