Coming to An Lao district, the land considered "Da Lat of Binh Dinh" with the highest point about 1,000m above sea level, cool climate all year round with an average annual temperature of about 22-24 0 C, those who are passionate about adventure travel and exploration cannot miss the opportunity to conquer the Four-Tier Waterfall .
The enchanting Four-tiered Waterfall
Four-Tier Waterfall is located in An Quang commune, in the middle of a majestic primeval forest. From Quy Nhon to An Quang commune, about 120km, we took a car to the edge of the forest.
Leaving the car behind, the group began their journey to explore the Four-Tier Waterfall. Guided by the locals, we walked deep into the protected forests and primeval forests.
The road to the waterfall is really attractive because you walk in the shade of the forest, the sound of birds singing, cicadas... creating an interesting chorus. You also admire many species of wild orchids blooming brightly next to small streams, from above your eyes can also take in the golden ripe terraced fields below of the people here...

Walking for about 45 minutes, at an altitude of 500-600 meters above sea level, we reached the first waterfall of the Four-tier waterfall system. The white waterfall flows from a height of about 40 meters down, flowing softly like a silk strip or a young girl's hair amidst a wild and poetic natural landscape.
The Four-Level Waterfall system consists of four similar waterfalls. Every 40 meters, you will encounter a beautiful, enchanting waterfall like this.
Here, in addition to admiring the majestic natural scenery, you can also immerse yourself in the cool, clear stream water under the waterfall; admire the rocks of many strange shapes; dive to catch rock snails, considered a specialty in the An Lao mountains and forests...
Tourism development planning
Mr. Do Tung Lam - Vice Chairman of An Lao District People's Committee - said that the district considers Bon Tang waterfall a potential tourist destination for the locality and includes it in its development plan.
"The district leaders have just conducted a survey of the Four-Tang waterfall and have directed the establishment of a zoning plan and tourism development plan. It is expected that in mid-2024, the plan will be announced to call for investors," said Mr. Lam.

According to Mr. Lam, when tourists come to An Quang, they will visit the unique cultural space of the H're ethnic group in villages 5 and 6 of this commune. Then, if needed, the Youth Union of the commune will guide and support them to explore the Four-Tang waterfall.
In the immediate future, the People's Committee of An Lao district plans to create a cement concrete path about 1 meter wide and 6-7cm thick through the forest to facilitate tourists to explore the Four-Tier Waterfall.
Thus, when coming to An Lao, visitors not only go to the 1,000-meter-high An Toan Heaven Gate to hunt clouds, enjoy wild sim wine, drink rice wine, eat fish, fern... but also have the opportunity to experience and conquer the majestic, wild, and fascinating Four-Tan waterfall.
Revealing the anti-leech mixture
If this is your first time visiting the Four-Tier Waterfall, you should ask a local for help and guidance. You should also prepare snacks and drinks to bring along and don’t forget DEP ointment to prevent leeches.
We applied DEP all over our feet and calves to prevent leeches from attacking. However, there were some stubborn leeches that stuck around, so we had to stop every now and then to "destroy" them after an itchy bite.
On the trekking route to the Four-Tier Waterfall, our group met some young Ba Na people who were collecting bees. They prepared a bottle of water to treat leeches, the ingredients included: salt, lemon and a crushed lemongrass stalk in that mixture.
When the leech comes up to your feet, use the lemongrass soaked in the mixture to dab the leech. It will fall to the ground immediately. Thanks to that, our group's journey to the Four-Level Waterfall was easier.
