Thac Dak Sing is about 60 km north of Kon Tum city center. Visitors travel along National Highway 40B to Van Lem Commune People's Committee, then continue along the small concrete road about 3 km to the parking lot. From here, visitors start walking into the forest.
The deeper you go, the more wild the scenery becomes. The sound of trees, birds chirping, and the sound of the stream babbling. After nearly 30 minutes of walking, down more than 200 steps through the cool bamboo forest, you will reach the foot of the waterfall. And then, Dak Sing waterfall appears like a fairyland scene in the middle of the mountains and forests.
From a height of about 100 m, water falls down layers of rocks, forming a white stream in the middle of a vast green background. The mist around the foot of the waterfall reflects the sunlight into a beautiful rainbow. The air here is cool and fresh, making all the fatigue of the tourist's journey disappear.

Unlike many waterfalls that usually have a vertical flow, Dak Sing falls in many levels, the water seeping through each mossy stone step. At the foot of the waterfall is a small lake with clear water, enough to see the sparkling pebbles at the bottom. The surrounding trees are covered in lush green, from the forest trunks to the small ferns, all blending together in a symphony of the mountains and forests.
Dak Sing waterfall is also a place that preserves the folk cultural memories of the local people, especially the Xe Dang people. Here, legendary stories have been passed down through many generations, becoming an inseparable part of this place. One of the legends told by the people of Van Lem commune is the story of the mysterious cave near Dak Sing waterfall: In the middle of Dak Sing waterfall, there is a cave connecting to the top of Co Chay hill - the highest hill in Van Lem commune. In the past, every time an earthquake or flood occurred, wild animals in the forest would crawl into the cave, following this path to the hill to take refuge. Some villagers even found a rock near the cave entrance with buffalo footprints.
Although there is no scientific research or official information confirming the existence of this cave, the legend continues to be told as part of the soul of the land, contributing to enriching the cultural identity of the Xe Dang people here.

Another factor that makes Dak Sing waterfall unique is its wildness. Here, there are no tourist services, no loud voices or blaring electronic speakers; there is only the sound of the mountains, the wind, the waterfall and birds on the deserted stream bank. Dak Sing is like a sleeping princess in the forest.
In addition to its tourism and ecological value, Dak Sing waterfall also has great potential for environmental education and scientific research. Surrounded by a primeval forest ecosystem, this area is home to many rare bird species and endemic flora and fauna.
