On the morning of November 21, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development deployed the crop production plan for 2025; summarized the agricultural economic development model to implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

In 2025, the whole province strives for a growth rate of 0.6% or more in the crop sector; of which spring rice reaches about 74,000 hectares, spring rice yield reaches over 70 quintals/hectare, output over 510,000 tons; spring crop area is over 15,000 hectares, summer crop area is 11,000 hectares. High-quality rice accounts for about 50% of the total cultivated area.

To achieve this goal, the agricultural sector guides localities to introduce short-term varieties with high economic value, marketable and suitable for weather and climate conditions. Expand the area of rice sown and transplanted by machine to 35,000 hectares; encourage people to accumulate and concentrate land, transplant the same tea, same varieties; apply maximum mechanization in production; at the same time produce a large amount of products, facilitating the linkage of product consumption, increasing the added value of agricultural products, building brands and trademarks, enhancing trade promotion; orienting towards organic, sustainable, environmentally friendly agricultural production, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

At the conference, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also summarized agricultural economic models implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
