This incident occurred during the friendly match between Thailand and India on the evening of June 4th, a game intended as preparation for the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. Thailand won 2-0, but the spotlight was on their opening goal.
In the 7th minute, Korawich Tasa of Thailand kicked the ball directly into the leg of an Indian player. This incident caused the player in the orange jersey to fall to the ground in pain.
However, the Thai players continued to play the ball and scored shortly afterwards through Ben Davis.
The goal was not illegal because Tasa had not fouled the Indian player beforehand. However, the visiting team was dissatisfied, arguing that the situation was not dangerous at the time, and that if a player was injured and lying on the ground, Thailand should have kicked the ball out of bounds.
On social media, many fans also commented that Thailand lacked fair play in this situation.

But some fans defended the Thai team, arguing that such plays are becoming increasingly common in football. And even top teams in the world wouldn't stop attacking.
Earlier this year, the Thai national team caused a major controversy due to a highly unsportsmanlike goal by Supachok in the second leg of the ASEAN Cup final against Vietnam.
From a throw-in that goalkeeper Dinh Trieu had deliberately cleared earlier to allow medical staff to attend to an injured teammate, Supachok seized the opportunity to score with a long-range shot.
This goal brought shame to Supachok in particular and Thai football in general, drawing fierce criticism from the football fan community. Supachok even had to "reluctantly" accept the award for the best goal of the tournament, as voted by fans, as a kind of irony directed at him.
Thailand will play away against Turkmenistan in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on June 10th.
