Visit and pay tribute to People's Artist The Hien and Meritorious Artist Le Thien

On May 27, a working delegation led by Mr. Tran The Thuan - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City - visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to People's Artist The Hien and Meritorious Artist Le Thien.

This is one of 8 delegations representing the leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to visit and encourage outstanding artists and those in difficult circumstances; collectives and individuals who have performed well in cultural and artistic activities in the city on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Mr. Tran The Thuan, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, talked and visited Meritorious Artist Le Thien.

At the house of People's Artist The Hien, Mr. Tran The Thuan spoke to acknowledge the contributions of this musician. "We respectfully acknowledge his positive and effective contributions in the field of music , while also creating inspiration for many generations of young people in the city. Over the years, many generations of junior musicians have succeeded the work of People's Artist The Hien. I hope he will take care of his health and continue to contribute ideas so that the Department of Culture and Sports, the Music Association and other relevant agencies can operate more and more effectively, contributing positively to the development of the city" - Mr. Tran The Thuan emphasized.

When the delegation visited Meritorious Artist Le Thien, she expressed her joy. During the conversation, she recounted memories of participating in the performance illustrating the song "Color of Red Flowers" at the recent 30-4 celebration.
