Implementing the program of activities of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, on the afternoon of April 28, comrade Ho Trung Viet, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, visited retired cadres in Ca Mau City.

Comrade Ho Trung Viet kindly inquired about the health and life of the families, and briefly informed them about the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification that are being carried out in the province and the whole country. At the same time, he hoped that the families would continue to be shining examples for their children and grandchildren to learn from and follow; to give advice to the local authorities in propagating the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and in implementing the local revolutionary movement, enthusiastically competing in labor and production, contributing to building the homeland more and more prosperous.

*On the same afternoon, comrade Phan Hoang Vu, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, as head of the provincial working delegation, visited, presented gifts and expressed gratitude to senior comrades in the field of literature and art of the province on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The delegation visited, presented gifts and expressed gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Thai Thuan (Ut Tran, born in 1935), former Cadre of the Regional Youth Union, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union; Meritorious Artist Huynh Hanh (Huynh Thanh Thua, born in 1937), former Head of the Huong Tram Cai Luong Troupe; Meritorious Artist Huynh Thien Hung (born in 1951), former Vice President of the Literature and Arts Association, term III.

Affirming that Ca Mau is the cradle that has produced a large number of artists in all fields, many outstanding individuals, who have made outstanding contributions and built prestige and great reputation in all historical periods of the locality, comrade Phan Hoang Vu confided: “The tradition and identity of Ca Mau literature and art is a great pride, which has been fully affirmed, steadfast, and wonderful throughout the resistance period and the period of innovation, integration, and development of Ca Mau province.
