Agribank Kien Giang Insurance paid Credit Security Insurance benefits to a customer in Gia Rai Town, Bac Lieu Province with an amount of more than 202 million VND. In May 2025, Agribank Kien Giang Insurance - Bac Lieu Business Department coordinated with Agribank Gia Rai Town Branch, Bac Lieu to pay Credit Security Insurance benefits to the customer's family, with a total amount of 202,518,808 VND. From 2009 to present, in Bac Lieu province, there have been a total of 436 compensation cases; total payment amount: 12,136,912,236 VND. From the beginning of 2025 to present, in Bac Lieu province, there have been a total of 11 cases and compensation payments of 457,517,082 VND. Specifically, on May 13, 2025, Agribank Kien Giang Insurance - Bac Lieu Business Department coordinated with Agribank Gia Rai Town Branch to pay Credit Security Insurance benefits to the representative of Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan's family residing in Hamlet 2, Ho Phong Ward, Gia Rai Town, Bac Lieu Province. Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan borrowed capital from Agribank Gia Rai Town Branch, Bac Lieu and participated in Credit Security Insurance, the insurance premium was 1,400,000 VND/365 days. Unfortunately, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan passed away, Agribank Kien Giang Insurance - Bac Lieu Business Department paid insurance benefits to the family with the amount of 202,518,808 VND. Of which, the basic insurance benefit is 200,000,000 VND, funeral support is 2,000,000 VND; loan interest support is 518,808 VND. Credit Security Insurance is a voluntary insurance product for customers borrowing capital from Agribank. In case of an accident or illness affecting the life or health of the borrower, Agribank Insurance will pay benefits to the customer with the corresponding amount within the scope of insurance.
