Quang Nam Medical College General Hospital has temporarily suspended operations, but currently still owes more than VND10.1 billion, including money for medicine and medical supplies from 104 companies; owed salaries to employees who have quit their jobs at the hospital and other amounts.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the Board of Directors of Quang Nam Medical College as well as the school's lecturers and staff to make efforts to overcome difficulties, be extremely responsible in recruiting, training, and improving operational efficiency.

The school must re-evaluate its resources and capabilities in recruiting and training in various fields; to determine which fields to train, it must know where the resources are for training, who will train them... The school must re-determine the roadmap for resolving debts and solutions for the goals of the new school year.

According to Mr. Tuan, to solve financial difficulties, the school must do a good job in recruiting and training, training cooperation, and creating jobs for students and graduates effectively to build prestige and brand for the school.

The school is responsible for collecting debts from individuals, working with each case and requiring specific commitments. If individuals do not comply with their commitments, the school must report to the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to take action.

For the school's debt to the state, it is necessary to calculate the school's revenues in training, savings in expenses... to have a roadmap to repay the debt to the budget. The province can consider extending the debt repayment schedule when the school has a specific roadmap.
