VPBankS affirms its strong position in the international financial market with a syndicated loan of 125 million USD
This is the company's largest international capital raising deal ever, clearly demonstrating the strong confidence of the international financial community in VPBank's long-term development potential and sustainable business strategy.
The loan is coordinated by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) as the sole Coordinator, with the participation of reputable financial institutions including Maybank, Cathay United Bank and Standard Chartered Bank in arranging, book building and co-lending.
"The success of this transaction is the clearest evidence that VPBankS is building strong trust from international investors with strong commitments to transparency, effective governance and breakthrough business strategies. In the context of the volatile global financial market, successfully mobilizing large-scale international capital is an important foundation, helping VPBankS continue to affirm its pioneering role in the Vietnamese stock market," emphasized Mr. Vu Huu Dien, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of VPBankS.
This syndicated loan will be an important resource for VPBankS to boost investment activities, improve competitiveness, expand market share and achieve sustainable growth in the coming time.
The mobilized capital will be prioritized by VPBankS to enhance financial capacity, diversify investment portfolio, promote securities brokerage activities, corporate finance consulting, and develop digital financial products and services, thereby contributing to improving customer experience and consolidating its leading position in the securities sector in Vietnam.
The success of this transaction also opens up opportunities for long-term strategic cooperation with international financial institutions, laying the foundation for larger capital mobilization deals in the future, affirming VPBankS's position and growing influence in the global financial market.
