Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra was born in 1986. She has a BA in Political Science from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; and a MA in International Hotel Management from the University of Surrey, UK.
Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra was: Member of the Executive Committee of Rende Ploenchit Hotel Co., Ltd. (2011-2024); Member of the Executive Committee of Rende Development Co., Ltd. (2012-2024); Member of the Executive Committee of Thames Valley Khao Yai Co., Ltd. (2013-2024); Member of the Executive Committee of Alpine Golf and Sports Co., Ltd., Member of the Executive Committee of Alpine Garden Design Co., Ltd., Member of the Executive Committee of OAI Consulting and Management Co., Ltd. (2016-2024); Vice Chairman of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Health System Development Committee (2023-2024).
Since 2022, Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra has been the Director General of the Pheu Thai Party's Initiative and Inclusion Committee, leading the Pheu Thai Family Project.
Since 2023, she has been the leader of the Pheu Thai Party.
From August 18, 2024 to present, Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra is the 31st Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand.
Prime Minister Paetongtarn's government attaches importance to strengthening cooperation with ASEAN countries, including Vietnam, especially in the fields of economy and tourism.
