The 2025 Asian Jujitsu Championship concluded its championship events on the evening of May 25 (local time) in Jordan.
The Vietnamese jujitsu team completed the championship competition program at the tournament with a total of 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals, thereby ranking 3rd overall. After the two martial artists Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc and Tran Hong An won the first 2 gold medals (in the fighting category), we won 5 more gold medals in the following categories. Among them, the face that was cheered by the fans was Dao Hong Son, who won a gold medal for himself at the tournament. Hong Son entered the final of the men's 56kg contact category to defeat Salman Ali Dawood (Iraq), winning the championship. "This is a truly happy result because I was determined to win it. I would like to dedicate this achievement to the audience who cheered me on," martial artist Dao Hong Son expressed.
In addition to the above results, the Vietnamese jujitsu team won 4 more gold medals thanks to the efforts of Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (newaza over 70kg, contact over 70kg women), Tran Hong An (contact 52kg women), and Ngo Thi Thao Van (contact 70kg women).
