Electronic medical record appraisal at Cho Moi District Medical Center

On May 26, Cho Moi District Medical Center organized an Electronic Medical Record Appraisal Council to decide on the use and storage of electronic medical records to replace paper medical records, storage and transmission of medical images instead of printing films, and storage of test information instead of printing paper.

The appraisal council surveys and inspects the operational status of electronic medical record software.

The appraisal council directly surveyed and inspected the infrastructure and operational status of the electronic medical record software. At the same time, it compared it with the criteria specified in Circular 54/2017/TT-BYT and Circular 46/2018/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health .

The Appraisal Council held a secret ballot, and the Appraisal Council assessed that Cho Moi District Medical Center was recognized as meeting the conditions for implementing electronic medical records.

Concluding the evaluation session, Dr. Doan Thanh Hung highly appreciated the efforts of Cho Moi District Medical Center in implementing electronic medical records; the effective coordination between the information technology department and the treatment department. At the same time, he suggested that the District Medical Center continue to invest in more infrastructure and information technology equipment; and should complete the content guided by the evaluation team to improve the effectiveness of use in the coming time.
