Calling on the community to join hands to protect the environment at the fireworks festival

On May 27, the Department of Agriculture and Environment said it had sent an open letter to agencies, units, associations, unions, businesses, services, residents and tourists to call on the community to join hands to protect the environment at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) in 2025.

Accordingly, in previous fireworks festivals, after the performances, many young people, police officers, border guards, environmental workers and other forces stayed behind to clean up and collect trash around the stands and fireworks viewing areas, along crowded streets, leaving a good impression. This action further enhances the brand of Da Nang , an environmentally friendly, clean, beautiful, modern and civilized city.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment calls on residents and visitors not to litter and limit the use of disposable plastic products; collect waste after the fireworks display ends. At the same time, call on friends, relatives and people around to participate in protecting the environment, share part of the work of environmental workers to complete the cleaning of streets and sidewalks soon.
