Border Guard rehearses plan to ensure security, order and safety at DIFF 2025

DNO - On the afternoon of May 28, the Da Nang City Border Guard mobilized forces and vehicles to organize a general rehearsal of the plan to ensure security, order and safety on the Han River, fire prevention and fighting, and rescue for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025.

According to the plan, the entire water surface of the Han River area, where the fireworks displays will take place, will be strictly controlled. The city's Border Guard mobilized 6 ships, 20 boats and canoes, along with more than 250 officers and soldiers deployed at the routes, especially near the stands, performance venues and bridges across the river. This force is responsible for patrolling, controlling, and quickly handling unexpected situations, ensuring absolute safety for residents and tourists.

At the rehearsal, Colonel Tran Cong Thanh, Commander of the City Border Guard, required officers and soldiers to absolutely not be subjective or negligent, especially during the fireworks display nights, when a large number of people and vehicles gather.

According to the plan, the entire water surface of the Han River area, where the fireworks displays will take place, will be strictly controlled.

“We have developed specific scenarios and clearly assigned forces to promptly handle all situations, from security and order disruptions to emergencies such as fires and accidents on the river,” Colonel Tran Cong Thanh emphasized.

In addition, the Border Guard also set up checkpoints at both ends of Thuan Phuoc and Rong bridges to prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering the performance area. The “safe zone” plan was also carefully calculated to prevent chaos or congestion on the river.
